More change

Well, I've started on the weight change portion. This past weekend, I was out playing golf with my husband and members of our church. I play golf (if you can call it that) one day per year, usually, at this event. It's best ball, thank goodness, and we usually get teamed with pretty good golfers, which keeps us from looking totally incompetent.

Before we went out, my husband bought us a beverage, and, probably because he needed one, a chocolate bar each.

I'm not actually all that fond of chocolate bars.

Know what? I ate it. I ate the whole thing. I still don't know why! I think I need to explore that more closely.

Other big changes need to be made. My office is a disaster area. Books, papers, and magazines are all piled on the desk along with a flashlight, a doll, markers, spools of thread, a sock, and tons of stuff I can't see. And that's just the desk.

This is definitely weight I need to lose too, although it won't reduce the number of pounds I have to lose. Maybe by dealing with these "weighty" issues, it will help the physical weight loss. Maybe the mind/body link is hindering my progress. Maybe it's time to change everything.

Right now, I'm going to make a start on the office (after I have a fortifying cup of coffee).
